Theres something truly magical about paris.
You know logically it exists and when you walk out of the train station you are immediately seduced.
Completely awe struck … the romance is real….
Despite our extreme exhaustion from a busy week in England, shooting, laughing and drinking tea hourly… there was nothing stopping us from getting lost in the night. We didn’t take many photographs (thankfully we are waiting on a few rolls of film) but here is a small peek at that one night in paris he asked me to be his wife. A lot of you know my idea of love has been tainted over the years. I won’t bore you with all the past fears but, one day almost 3 years ago this guy entered my life. I didn’t understand at the time what he would become. To say I was in a funny stage of the romance department would be a grand understatement. Friends I would say…. we can be friends. He knew what I needed when I needed it. He was funny, honest, caring but quiet with his affections. Everyday I am so grateful he waited for the thick ice around my heart to melt. I can honestly say I have found the most amazing man, I don’t deserve him but the kids and I are so so very blessed.
He knows me and our song says it simply and says it best.
Ill keep the rest of my sentiments private…. but just know…. there is no better.
Fast forward to
soaking in every view
little I love yous
and alone in the parks surrounding the most famous romantic site in paris
He got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife.
Simple, quiet and perfect.
That moment is ours for keeps.
“What can I fear when I know you walk by my side”
